Northern Compliance is an innovative organisation that was founded to enable businesses to fulfil their B2B WEEE producer and end user responsibility for the long term. They undertake the administrative and legislative responsibilities on behalf of their members. Northern Compliance has a partnership agreement with WEEE Lite a B2C Compliance Scheme that ensures companies are not disadvantaged when they are required to join both a B2B and B2C Compliance Scheme.
When registering as a B2B Producer with Northern Compliance you will be required to pay an Environment Agency fee which is standard across all PCSs. Membership fees however are not and we believe by guiding our members through the various options available by undertaking our Take the WEEE Producers Challenge process will ensure our members are guaranteed a WEEE contract plan that demonstrates Corporate and Social Responsibility, Environmental Sustainability and Cost Effectiveness.
Compliance with Northern Compliance Ltd could not be easier with the introduction of our online tools:
- Online member home page with copy of file registered with the appropriate agency
- Online EEE reporting tools for submitting EEE quarterly returns
- Online WEEE tools for requesting B2B & B2C WEEE Collections
- Online audit tool showing the compliance status of the organisation following your free annual audit
The wide variation in WEEE charging in the UK is, we believe, in the main due to lack of knowledge and the toolkit we issue to members is invaluable in ensuring the members is not only fully compliant but complying in the most appropriate and cost effective method available.
